What is subsidized child care?

Subsidized Child Care refers to the provision of free or low-cost child care services by the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to eligible families residing in New York City.

This type of child care is available for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old, while those children with special needs can receive care up to the age of 18.
